Born and raised in TMR, Tania is a third generation Townie.
If you’ve ever met her, you’d know.
She’d remember too. People are her passion.
She is a local entrepreneur, running a screening business for the past 15 years.
Tania lives in TMR with her husband and their two sons and is an advocate for community programs and organized sports.
She is a dedicated resident that is committed to bringing her positive energy, interpersonal skills and tireless work ethic to Town Hall.
Tania is driven by her love for human connections. That passion has led her to municipal politics. Besides being a defender of local public schools, Tania is also particularly interested in urban planning and is a strong advocate for seniors.
Tania’s personality and her local ties give her insight at a grassroots level of the changing needs of her community. This was the driving force for choosing to run for city council. Tania is prepared to serve a community that embraced her since childhood.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Tania grew up surrounded by hard-working entrepreneurs. She is a natural entrepreneur that leads with compassion and by example. She successfully operates a textile manufacturing business in Montreal. Being an entrepreneur, Tania has never stopped learning, she has intimate knowledge of business administration and all aspects of operations.
Entrepreneurship requires resilience which Tania has demonstrated over the course of her career. It also requires strong communication skills with staff, customers and business partners alike.
Tania has always recognized that no person is an island and has always worked with others fostering a spirit of collaboration and teamwork. She brings these values and skills to Town Hall, confident that she will continue to build lasting relationships and move the town forward.
