HIGHTLIGHTS OF MY FIRST MANDATE

For the last four years, Caroline has served as City Councillor for District 6. Passionnate about municipal issues, Caroline has contributed positively to the advancement of numerous initiatives.

Here is a summary of her actions.

MOBILITY & INFRASTRUCTURE

  • Was the driving force behind the decision to connect the Sports and Community Center to the underground parking and to save the Curling Center from demolition.

  • Made our streets safer: Fought for a new stop sign at Lazard/Graham and additional speed bumps across the district.

  • Pushed for citywide bike paths.

  • Requested the widening of the Russell and Montgomery footbridges to facilitate crossings. Access ramps are under study.

  • Brought forward new synthetic soccer fields as a priority: the Town now has brand new ones.

  • Opposed premature spending on demolition of the outdoor pool while major projects (CRC, fire station, offices) are already underway.

ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Demanded stronger flood response measures and a stormwater master plan.

  • Defended green spaces: more permeable surfaces, stronger tree canopy protection, and sustainable development initiatives.

  • Transformed Gundy Park into TMR’s first fully accessible park.

  • Won an accelerated reforestation plan along the railway (for spring 2026).

  • Pressured the mayor to intervene with CDPQ Infra for noise mitigation on the REM.
